Small Band Pot
It is easy enough to get a fern with rich, deep green leaves but sometimes that dark shade garden is just crying out for a little contrast and this fern will provide some subtle relief. A deciduous species that gets just 18"-24" tall with fronds supported by wiry black stems. A moisture lover, don't torture it in dry shade.
Adiantum hispidulum

$12.00

Quart Pot
Rosy Maidenhair Fern. Quite a lovely and adaptable fern nicely at home here in Zone 8 gardens or Zone 7b with mulch for winter protection. Or a good houseplant if mulching isn't your thing. The new growth has salmon tones and matures to a nice green. This is evergreen unless it is in a colder garden. One of our very favorite customers turned us onto this so thanks Virginia!

4" Pot
Himalayan Maidenhair Fern. Evergreen to semi-evergreen creeping fern making the the most textural groundcover imaginable. Salmon pink new growth goes to light olive and finally green leaflets on black wiry stems just 8"-12" high. Likes a loose moist soil but will tolerate dry when established.
Athyrium filix-femina 'Frizelliae'

4" Pot
Tatting Fern. Perfect for you all lace-makers out there as the very narrow fronds resemble tatted lace. I have to say I don't know anyone who tats lace anymore. Tattoos yes but lace, no. Delicate and intricate texture with 12"-18" long fronds. Deciduous, moist & bright shade.
