A good orange large flowered Crocosmia with a yellow center to draw the eye. It's a good thing we love orange because this is orange and then some so it makes sense that we like this one. We run into people every year who tell us that they just don't do orange in their garden and we stare at them in mute slack-jawed disbelief with a hastily veiled look of pity. Maybe in the shade garden but the sunny beds crave something to rival the intensity of the August sun and this fills the bill. A 1993 hybrid by van Dijk.
