A choice little bit of Down Under conifer from the high elevations in Tasmania.  This is a great choice for a smaller garden as it is darned slow getting just a foot or so wide in 10 years.  This is ideal for many of the mild gardens here such as in our fair town or near the water as it is hardy to 10 degrees.  We've seen this grown to great effect in an elevated urn-like planter where the branchlets cascaded luxuriantly and we came away with serious Diselma envy and a nagging uncomfortable truth that we would never rise to that level of excellence in our own garden.  We know we are supposed to be inspired by and exult in others successes and sometimes we truly are but in this case we were overwhelmed by perfection at every turn.  Plus they seemed so happy - couldn't they just toss us a little bone along the way?  These are young plants but will afford you the opportunity to bring these along to your liking and potentially test how our therapy is progressing when we come visit your garden.
