Small Band Pot
Charming little woodland creeper from Japan with double white flowers on this form. This gets just a few inches high but spreads nicely making such wonderful swatch of fresh green with the flowers being a pleasant surprise. It is plants such as this that really make a shade garden. Necessarily much attention is paid to the framework plants and their supporting cast but often the plantings don't get down to this level of intimacy and it it is this sort of detailed planting that takes contrivance out of the mix leaving the garden looking settled, natural and right.
