We don't do many patented plants but some are just so good that we make exceptions. Not only is this good but it was introduced by our friends at Joy Creek Nursery in Oregon which adds just another layer of goodness for us. This is a superb selection with each leaf blade heavily banded in yellow. Burgundy flower plumes in October are held just above the foliage. This is a compact selection as well eventually getting 5' tall but remaining as a fairly narrow clump.
