Phillyrea angustifolia
Price:
$15.00
In Stock
Quart Pot
An uncommon member of the Olive Family which is hardy in our area and makes a lovely evergreen alternative shrub or small tree. A small tree takes time and one English writer suggested it would be an act of kindness for future generations to plant one now. Small fragrant creamy flowers on open thin branches clad in narrow willowish leaves. Our plants came as cuttings from the collectors garden of Marian Raitz.

Quart Pot
Very fine evergreen shrub in the Olive family which has the effect of privet but in a much classier plant. Fragrant white flowers in May-June cluster among the light reflecting leaves. This has a very clean habit and grew for many years in Marian Raitz's garden in Bellevue. You could clip it, but why?
