A selection of Bloodroot by Jerry John Flintoff and named for Northwest plantswoman Edith Dusek.  This has very large single flowers which are perhaps half again as big as typical and a patch of this looks stunning in bloom.  The big rounded and shallowly lobed foliage which follows has merit in itself and maintains interest long after the flowers finish.  An extremely rare plant.  Our thanks to John for sharing this along with countless other treasures over the years.
