We owe Duane West yet again for sharing another extremely excellent plant with us. (Please don't mention to him anything about royalties on each plant sold - so far it has only cost a glass of Malbec at Sirens, our local watering hole ) Rounded mound of beautifully marbled and patterned leaves providing the perfect foundation for the flock of small kite-tailed white flowers in mid summer. Allied to Saxifraga fortunei but flowering much earlier. This has done great in our shade garden where the flower stems get 20" high. .
