Our friend Darrell Probst does it again with this excellent Gentian selection. Large 2" flowers of very blue upright facing flowers borne profusely up and down the stems on this compact and nicely branched plant. Anything blue always gets and this got us good. This blooms from mid July into September and suited to the garden bed or containers. On a visit, we saw Darrell's trial bed of thousands of Gentian seedlings from his hybridizing work and from all of those this was judged Gentiana Numero Uno. Not a fussy plant in the least.
