Hepaticas are critical components of naturalistic shade gardens and this Japanese species is quite desirable.  Most of these flowered good blues this spring but there is an off chance a white or pink one might have snuck in. These will make nice clumps of evergreen leaves and a fine sight in early to mid spring in the shade garden.  Hepatica has been placed into the genus Anemone thanks to DNA work but we are going old school for a while longer.  These are quite nice and were locally grown for us by a friend of ours who is simply aces at growing Hepatica and other gems.
