Pitcairnia sp. CEH
A Cody Hinchliff collection from Bolivia where it grew on sandy clay cliffs near a waterfall forming rosettes up to 30" across. Not seen in flower but expect a single spike inflorescence with red bracts. This will take sun or shade, wet or dry and is tender but makes a great houseplant or outside in warm zone 9 or zone 10. Forget the Boston Fern - grow something no one else has. A portion of the proceeds goes to support the mission of Far Reaches Botanical Conservancy.
